Back to the Bible Training College

Back to the Bible Mission (BBM) was established during 1990 to prepare missionaries to win Africa for Jesus.

The institution is situated in the Valley of Mercy between Barberton and Kaapmuiden.

We strive to be committed to the students we are privileged to serve, in our alumni association, our dedicated, talented faculty and staff. We also take pride in having the most active and helpful group of partners, visionary parents, well-wishers, alumni and friends.

Our Beliefs/Confession

1. The Triune God is the head of this Mission
2. We were born to glorify and enjoy God.
3. We believe that the Great Commandment, namely to love God above all else and my neighbour as myself, forms the basic foundation of this new life in Christ.
4. We believe that all men are sinners who must be born again and repent to enter into heaven.
5. We focus on the salvation of lost and broken souls.
6. We believe that the Great Commission to make disciples involves a new way of living, focused on the whole person.
7. We believe that all necessary guidelines for living our mission are contained in the Word of God.
8. This Mission places the infallible Word of God central in all its activities, lectures, decisions and outreaches.
9. This Mission is passionate about worship and prayer.
10. We believe that God calls staff members and lecturers and enables them to shape and equip missionaries for the mission fields.
11. We believe in the unity of all believers who are founded on the Bible.
